Tony Peppas Bio

Tony Peppas was born in Athens, Greece in 1948.  He graduated from the Academy of Art in Athens, Greece and now lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden. 

Mr. Peppas started his art vocation as an impressionistic artist.  He has developed this style over many years and has carried out this style through a great number of his paintings.  His oil works represent a wide range of motifs from flowers and landscapes to theatre scenes.  He is best known for his unusual and original technique of painting whereby emotion emanates from the numerous layers in his work.

Peppas’ artistic style is based on a specific blending of warm and intense colors to give them outstanding shades and tinges, thus producing incredible impressions of reality and dream depicted on canvas.

His paintings have been sold around the world to many walks of art admirers and private collectors.  Peppas’ work is included in the book of Noted Swedish Artists (Svenska Konstnarer Uppslagbok – the Swedish Artists Dictionary) and is a highly sought after artist by a growing number of private collectors seeking his works, time and time again.

Mr. Peppas also enjoys sharing his talents, not only through his artwork, but through his teaching.  Mr. Peppas has most recently taught art to many students at the Svensson Art Academy in Stockholm, Sweden.
